Soccer Tourney A Success

To the Editor:

On May 27, 28, and 29 the Newtown Soccer Club hosted the 23rd Annual Kickoff Soccer Tournament; 88 teams participated from Connecticut and New York. The tournament was a success!

This would not have been possible without the help of many parent volunteers, the dedicated committee members, the board members, high school volunteers, local business support, Newtown Parks & Recreation Department, and those “special” individuals who came out of the woodwork to help. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all these individuals.
