Mr and Mrs Benjamin Drew Kibbey

Cristina Angela Pesce, daughter of Richard and Judith Pesce, Newtown, and Benjamin Drew Kibbey, son of Dr and Mrs William Kibbey, Findlay, Ohio, were married April 9 in a ceremony at The Meeting House in Newtown. The Rev Walter Pitman officiated.

A reception in honor of the couple followed the ceremony at La Fortuna in Bethel.

The bride is a graduate of Newtown High School and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y. She earned her master’s degree in social work from Columbia University in New York City and is currently employed as a school social worker.

The groom graduated from Findlay High School in Findlay, Ohio, and earned his bachelor’s degree in music education, and jazz and contemporary media from Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y. He is presently a musician and music educator in the New York area.

Following a honeymoon to Canada, the couple makes their home in Norwalk.
