Democrats Seek Candidates

The Democratic Town Committee has issued a call for registered Democrats interested in participating in Newtown’s municipal government to contact the committee.

The next municipal election will take place on November 8, 2005.  The candidates’ subcommittee will welcome inquiries from individuals who may be interested in the following offices:

Legislative Council, Town Clerk, Board of Education, Board of Finance, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning and Zoning Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate.
