Frances O’Toole, 91, of Heritage Village, Southbury, formerly of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., died peacefully at home June 4. The widow of James C. O’Toole, she was born March 23, 1923, in Bronx, N.Y., daughter of Mary Mabel and William F. O’Brien.

She leaves behind three daughters and their husbands, Mary Karen and Fred Merrill of Newtown, Patricia and Jerry Gold of Fairfax Station, Va., and Kim O'Toole Hinderliter and Robert Hinderliter of Westfield, N.J.; three sons and their wives, Brien and Carol O ’Toole of Somers, N.Y., James and Jamie O’Toole of Danbury, and William O’Toole of Southbury; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs O’Toole had worked as a realtor for Billingsly Real Estate in Somers. After she and her husband moved to Heritage Village, she was an active volunteer at the Southbury Training School. She was a member of the Heritage Village Bridge Club and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, June 11, at 11 am, in Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
