Creative Mailing 16, Newtown Insurance 12 – Kate Bowen banged out three hits as Sabrina Yudelson, Ashley Kuligowski, Kaitlin Marsden and Kathy Townsend collected two hits apiece to lead Creative over Newtown insurance. Cynthia Reynolds made a great defensive play at first base and Shannon McCarthy singled and scored a run. For Newtown Insurance, Brittany Clark ripped four hits while Amanda Nealy added two hits. Sarah Ferris played great defensively at third while Zoe Rabinowitz made a fantastic catch in left field.

Creative Mailing 13, PJ’s Laundromat 1 – Emily Krewson had a tremendous day at the plate as she crushed two doubles , a single and drove in four runs to lead Creative Mailing over PJs Laundromat. Daria Maruschak legged out a homerun, Alex Caracciolo ripped two doubles and Ashley Duncan singled to power Creative. For PJs, Stephanie Sanchez had two hits, Stephanie Arndt singled, while Rachael Ruiz singled and scored the lone run.

Newtown Pools 8, Carminuccio’s 6 – Morghan Moroney and Nicole Nonnenmacher had key hits and scored two runs each to lead Newtown Pools. Hannah Koch added a solo home run as pitcher Taylor Johnson struck out six batters over three innings of work.

Newtown Pools 14, My Place Pizza 8 – Jillian Thompson had two timely hits to knock in four runs and Amanda Rowan hit a three-run homer to lead Newtown Pools. Emily Dion caught a fly ball while Kate Siroky pitched well. For My Place, Molly Ritter and Nora Murphy had big hits to lead the offense as Ashley Cirone pitched two strong innings and Marilyn Lacroce made a nice catch in the outfield.

Newtown Pools 16, Keno Graphics 9 – Kate Siroky, Jessica Jowdy and Emily Dion banged out 11 hits between them to lead Newtown Pools. Defensively, Taylor Johnson and Amanda Rowan pitched well. For Keno Graphics, Kelly Ann McCarthy and Elizabeth Grimes each hit well and scored twice. Mary Beth Meier and Nicole Rotante played well in the field. Erin Begg had six strikeouts.

Newtown Hardware 4, Newtown Pools 4 – Lisa Ferrari and Melissa Davila played well in the field to pace Newtown Hardware. For Newtown Pools, Jessica Jowdy, Morghan Moroney and Amanda Rowan provided hits for the offense as, defensively, Hannah Koch and Kate Siroky pitched three strong innings.

U10

Keno Graphics 16, Ferris Mulch 6 – Alexa Powell belted two doubles and Kayla O’Grady scored five runs to lead Keno. Mareena Mallory contributed four RBIs. For Ferris, Casey French pitched three strong innings as Sarah Potter and Allie Soderholm played great defense in the infield.

Keno Graphics 11, Newtown Junior Women 2 – Maggie Kennedy had a solid day on the mound with eight strikeouts as Emily Clark, Taylor Brady, Heather Leone and Emily Davis all hit well for Keno Graphics. For the Junior Women, Kelly Brassard hit her first triple, Emily Cannavo was outstanding in the field and threw two runners out, Courtney Yapp made two critical plays at first base, and Kelly and Alex DeWolfe fought hard on the mound.

Keno Graphics 12, She Devils 6 –  Maggie Kennedy belted a homerun, Alexa Powell smacked a triple and Heather Leone added a double to lead Keno to the win. Kayla O’Grady had a great debut on the mound. Natalie Galante hit a double and Shania Stamp made an outstanding defensive play to assist the She Devils.

She Devils 20, MasterCard International 6 – Emily Nacewicz homered to drive in the first run of the game and got the She Devils rolling. Nadia Elhag played tough defense and scored three runs as Monica Macchiarulo pitched an outstanding to keep MasterCard from getting on base. Ashlee Honiker hammered the ball every time up and kept the offense going. For MasterCard, Rachel Saint and Julianna Sansonetti made good plays in the field. Lauren McMahon sparked the offense.

She Devils 10, MasterCard International 6 – Sheila Smith homered to help drive the She Devils towards victory. Shaina Stamp and Natalie Galante made spectacular plays in the field while Morgan Macchiarulo drove in two runs and played tough defense behind the plate. For MasterCard, Alena Ruscoe led the offense with a double and a triple while Victoria Hanulik and Anna Guaragno combined for a nice play in the field.

She Devils 12, Creative Mailing 12 – Jill Moller hit well and Ashlee Honiker and Shaina Stamp played solid defense to lead the She Devils. Ellen Atkinson got on base several times. For Creative, Abi Kuligowski went 3-for-3 and scored twice as Rachel DiVanno had a base hit and scored twice. Stephanie Colucci played well in the field.

Ferris Mulch 12, MasterCard International 12 – Sarah Potter, Meghan Logan and Olivia Ingham combined for nine hits to lead the Ferris offense. Sarah Potter’s RBI tied the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. Carley Ferris pitched two strong innings and Vicky Kokoszka had several plays at second base. For MasterCard, Lilly Fulmer led the offense with key hits and Caitlin Gibney was outstanding on defense. Alena Ruscoe pitched 2 solid innings.
