Daisies Cross The Bridge Into Brownies
Daisies Cross The Bridge Into Brownies
On Thursday, June 1, the St Rose Daisy Troop 596 conducted a bridging ceremony to commemorate the its members âcrossing overâ to Brownies. The ceremony was conducted at the St Rose Hall. The Daisies participated in a flag ceremony for their parents and special guests, which included reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, the Girl Scout Promise, and the Girl Scout Law.
The girls then crossed over the stage hall and were greeted with a Girl Scout handshake before receiving their âcrossing overâ rainbow patch and Daisy membership star and disk. This rainbow patch and membership disk will be displayed on the girlsâ Brownie vests when they return to school in September as Brownies.
The event concluded with thanks to all of the Daisy leaders and parents for their involvement. A special thanks went out to Elizabeth Ludanyi, big sister of Daisy Loni Ludanyi, who was the assistant leader in the Daisy sibling room. The girls thanked her with a group hug and many smiles. The event ended with Brownie songs and refreshments.
