Summer Childrenâs Programs Hosted By Waldorf School
Housatonic Valley Waldorf School will be offering a number of childrenâs programs this summer at its new location, 40 Dodgingtown Road/Route 302. The programs are open to all area children, not just students of Waldorf School. Programs run each day from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
From Monday, June 26 through Friday, June 30, two programs will be available: âDrawing from Natureâ (ages 7-9) and âAboriginal Map Making and Ground Paintingâ (ages 10-12). A third special program for 4-6-year-olds will also be available, which includes nature crafts, singing, felting, wool dyeing, gardening, swimming and more. Special field trips will include swimming and hiking.
For Monday through Friday, July 3-7, âOrigamiâ (ages 7-9) and âPlant Dyeing Woolâ (ages 10-12) will be held. Special program for 4-6-year-olds includes nature crafts, singing, felting, wool dyeing, gardening, swimming and more. Field trips include swimming and hiking.
For Monday through Friday, July 17-21, programs will be âPlant Dyeing Silksâ (ages 7-9) and âMask Makingâ (ages 10-12). For 4-6-year-olds there will be nature crafts, singing, felting, wool dyeing, gardening, swimming and more. Field trips will include swimming and hiking.
The programs for Monday through Friday, July 24-28 will be âMarionette Making with Dyed Silks, Puppet Showâ (ages 7-9) and âPerform Short Drama Using Maskâ (ages 10-12). Programs for 4-6-year-olds will include nature crafts, singing, felting, wool dyeing, gardening, swimming and more. Field trips include swimming and hiking.
For Monday through Friday, July 31-August 4, the offerings will be âFace Painting, Dramaâ (ages 7-9) and âMaking Mobilesâ (ages 10-12). Program for 4-6-year-olds will include nature crafts, singing, felting, wool dyeing, gardening, swimming and more. Field trips will include swimming and hiking.
