Newtown Police are asking all residents to be on the lookout for three Black individuals, possibly two Black males and one Black female driving a black Mercedes. The Mercedes has no front plate and a chrome front grill.

The individuals were in the area on Monday afternoon, attempting to enter unlocked vehicles to steal the vehicle and/or belongings inside. Individuals with the same description have been attempting to steal vehicles in surrounding towns over the last two days.

If these are spotted, police ask that residents call 911 with as much detail as possible. Please do not intervene.
