Mary Gaydosik Dayton
Mary Gaydosik Dayton, 98, of Botsford, died June 5, at the Masonicare of Newtown, where she was a resident for the past few years. She was born July 3, 1913, in New York, to Mary and Anton Gaydosik.
She and her husband lived in Botsford for many years, retired, and moved to Florida where they celebrated their 50th golden anniversary.
She is survived by her devoted children Ethel Meadows, and her husband Jessie, of Botsford, David of Monroe, Frances Bombero, and her husband Ronald, of Trumbull, and Ronald, and his wife June, of Trumbull; 13 loving grandchildren; and 22 cherished great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband David Dayton in 1991.
Mrs Dayton will be remembered by her family as a proud mother, and also for her feisty remarks and great sense of humor.
Calling hours were scheduled at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, for Thursday, June 7, from 4 to 8 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services, Friday, June 8, at 9:15 am, at the funeral home, and at 10 am, at St Catherine of Siena Church, 190 Shelton Road, Trumbull.
