‘Unity And Diversity’ Programs Preview

Unity and Diversity, a cable television program that can be seen by residents in the greater Newtown area, is an educational experience in learning about one’s neighbors, especially through a clearer understanding of their religious heritage, spiritual values, and human culture.

Programs are aired at noon on Mondays, and at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays, throughout the 14 towns of the Charter viewing area.

Upcoming presentations include, June 11 and 13, “Islam’s True Meaning”; June 18 and 20, the Rev Timothy Crowley, pastor, Central Christian Church of Christ’s Disciples in Danbury; and June 25 and 27, the Reverend Preston Tallman, “A Minister in Transition.”

The program producer and host is the Reverend Leo McIlrath, coordinator of Corpus Christi: An Ecumenical Catholic Faith Community that serves “people on the fringe” in the greater Danbury area.
