Brookfield 15, JP Maguire 10 â Stephanie Arndt doubled and tripled to lead JP Maguire. Sarah Smith, Julia Theaman, and Taylor Johnson each contributed two hits as well. Defensively, Taylor Demirjian and Megan Murphy played well in the field while Johnson pitched two innings of no-hit no-run ball.
Global Financial Consulting 23, Taunton Press 12 â Megan Gibbons and Colleen Cunningham (four RBI) had four hits each to fuel a 26-hit GFC attack. Britney Soucar, Suzie Wright, Jessie Gibbons and Shannon Barra added three hits apiece and Cynthia Reynolds chipped in two hits. For Taunton Press, Marissa Metcalf, Emily Rowe, Allie Jones, and Kate Siroky hit the ball hard and teamed for three double plays.
Global Financial Consulting 18, Brookfield 12 â Emily Bersen and Liz Anderson had three hits and two RBI each in leading GFC to the win. Suzie Wright, Alyssa Buda, Meriah Tani and Natalie Dunn each added two hits and an RBI. Megan Gibbons shined on defense, as did catcher Shannon Barra, who tagged out a Brookfield runner trying to steal home to end the game.
Newtown Insurance 20, Taunton Press 19 â Gabby Mason, Kaitlyn Kakedeles, Sarah Pettinelli, Rebecca Reed and Marissa Chappelle all had multiple hits, runs scored and RBI to lead Newtown Insurance to the win. The effort was capped off by a Courtney Amaral grand slam.
JP Maguire 21, Taunton Press 10 â Jessica Cherry collected two hits and knocked in five runs while Caitlin Tefft went 3-for-3 and scored four runs to lead Maguire. Stephanie Arndt and Taylor Johnson also contributed with two hits apiece while Arndt and Jessica Jowdy scored four times each.

Richâs Keys & Locks 7, Newtown Junior Women 6 â In a rain shortened game, Claire Miles led Richâs Keys and Locks over Newtown Jr. Women with a hard triple while Kamryn Harmeling, Katie Tomascak and Allison Soderholm all had good at-bats. Sarah Potter anchored the defense behind the plate. For Newtown Jr. Women, Kelly Brassard pitched well as Katelyn DâAndrea, Mariah Joy and Amanda Rowan hit the ball hard. Julia LeBlanc played well in the field.
Richâs Keys & Locks 12, Keno Graphics 1 â Courtney Escoda and Alexa Powell combined to pitch a one run game as Richâs Keys and Locks defeated Keno Graphics. Lillia McEnaney hit well and played strong defense at first base and behind the plate. Victoria Kokoszka came back from being hit by a pitch to smash a key base hit while Courtney Escoda contributed with a long double. For Keno, Emily Dion and Ali Kennedy hit the ball hard. Luiza Tolkuci and Mallorie Dunn played great defense.

Ferris Mulch Products 5, Newtown Phone Book 4 â Meghan Logan tripled and singled while Julia Frattaroli doubled and singled to lead Ferris to the win. Brooke Hadgraft also collected two hits as Carley Ferris pitched three strong innings. For Phone Book, Danielle Shine and Olivia Sergiovanni led the offense with two hits apiece as Sarah Clements pitched two strong innings with four strikeouts.
Ferris Mulch Products 10, Top Notch Landscaping 2 â Emma Hungaski and Alexandra Dittrich led the Ferris offense with two hits apiece. Julia Frattaroli pitched three strong innings with five strikeouts. For Top Notch, Mary Jo Rossi went 3-for-3, including a homerun, while Lauren Henchcliffe had a great game behind the plate as catcher.

Erin Bernardi caught a great game behind the plate For Phone Book, Morgan Cebry and Abby Callery hit well and Sophia Matsis had a nice performance pitching while also making several defensive plays in the field.

Leonie Schmitt and Julia Frattaroli also collected hits. Brooke Hadgraft and Valentina Pena pitched well. For Phone Book, Sarah Clements and Meghan Powers pitched well as Olivia Avery and Rebecca Vodola hit the ball hard. Olivia Sergiovanni made several fantastic plays as shortstops and had two hits including a double.
Newtown Phone Book 6, Comfortable Living Hardwood Floors 5 â Meghan Powers and Sophia Matsis pitched four very strong innings while Sarah Clements pitched a scoreless final inning to lead Phone Book. Olivia Sergiovanni had a key hit while Julia Bell had a crucial RBI double in the fourth inning. For Comfortable Living, Kaylie Daniels flashed some fine leather at the hot corner while Shaina Errico ripped a two-run homer to pace the offense. Maggie Gorman and Lilia Hutchinson each enjoyed a 2 hit night.
Comfortable Living Hardwood Floors 3, The Toy Tree 2 â Emily Woznick and Lilia Hutchinson combined to pitch a great game to lead Comfortable Living. Aimee Alexander, Carolyn Delrossi, and Kaylie Daniels ripped RBI singles to lead the offense. For The Toy Tree, Morgan Macchiarulo pitched a great game while Lauren Tripodi and Jennifer Edwards the offense.
Comfortable Living Hardwood Floors 6, Top Notch Landscaping 2 â Emily Woznick, Shaina Errico and Ashlee Honiker enjoyed great games at the plate for Comfortable Living. Caitlin Jones, Hannah Booth and Aimee Alexander sparkled in the field. For Top Notch, Kayla OâGrady and Anna Guargno had excellent pitching performances while Madison Erhardt had a big day at the plate.

Cold Stone Creamery versus Carminuccioâs Pizza â Christina Moore pitched well and Annie Hoffman caught well behind the plate while Julia Scarangella and Katherine Humber had great hits for Cold Stone. Hannah Makris and Molly Begg had great hits while Courtney Demeglio and Catie Ingersoll played great defense for Carminuccioâs.
