Superintendent Search Focus Groups Slated

The Board of Education invites residents to offer input regarding the selection process of Newtown’s next superintendent of schools. To that end, two focus group meetings will be conducted by Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates Search Consultants.

The first group will be held Monday, June 11, 9:30 am, at the Board of Education Offices at  31 Peck’s Lane. A second group will meet on Wednesday, June 13, 7:30 pm, at the Reed Intermediate School Library, 3 Trades Lane.

Those unable to attend either of these meetings can download the Leadership Profile Assessment Form from the website, www.newtown.k12.ct.us. Forms are also available at the board’s offices at 31 Peck’s Lane. Completed forms can be brought to any public school office or to the Booth Library no later than Monday, June 25.
