Rotary Spruced Up Ability Beyond Disability House

Many years ago Newtown Rotary adapted a Datahr House (now known as Ability Beyond Disability, or ABD) in Newtown and every year has held a number of events for the benefit of those who live there. Besides the usual Christmas party in December, picnic and gardening in June, and other events, Rotary also helped to have the home’s driveway and parking area paved.

This week was the spring cleanup and gardening event and many were present, so much could be done. A much needed walkway from the front porch to the road was installed under the direction of Mike Toll and after all was finished, Jim Gulalo and his crew had a picnic meal ready to be devoured.
