Izabella Luz Valenzuela

Audrey Thompson and Carlos Valenzuela of Danbury announce the birth of a daughter, Izabella Luz Valenzuela, born May 14 at Danbury Hospital.

Izabella weighed 7 pounds and was 19 inches long.  

Grandparents are Diane Thompson and Chip Carpenter of Newtown, Robert Thompson and Carolyn Thompson of Germantown, Md., and Estella Villami and Raul Murillo of Danbury.

 

Lassen Zusa Ando

Lassen Zusa Ando, the first child and daughter of Rick and Andrea Ando of Oakland, Calif., was born at the University of California, San Francisco Children’s Hospital, May 12, at 11:52 pm, eight minutes before Mother’s Day.  

She weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 19 inches in length.

Lassen is the granddaughter of Ron and Carole Ando of Sandy Hook, Cynthia Hovey of San Diego, Calif., and Jim Schipper of Sarasota, Fla.  

Maternal great-grandparents are Clem and Evelyn Schipper of Arcadia, Fla.

Irene Ando, the last paternal great-grandparent, sadly missed meeting Lassen, as Mrs Ando died May 11 in Sharon, Penn., after 91 years.

 

Nicholas John Rossomando

A son, Nicholas John Rossomando, was born to Robert and Jane (Schmiedel) Rossomando of Sandy Hook, May 23, at Danbury Hospital.

He was 7 pounds, 6 ounces at birth and 19½ inches in length. Nicholas joins a sister, Jessica, who is 2 years old.

Grandparents are Roger and Zita Schmiedel of Danbury, Anthony and Angie Masini of New Milford, and Robert and Colleen Rossomando of Florida.

 

Theodore Robert Anderson

Jessica and Russell Anderson of Sandy Hook announce the birth of a son, Theodore Robert Anderson, born May 5, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Theodore weighed 7 pounds, 2.4 ounces at birth and was 20½ inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Dorothy and Brian Schlier of Newtown.

Elizabeth and Ronald Anderson of Mountain View, Calif., are the paternal grandparents.
