On May 5, a group of 30 Scouts from Troop 270 went climbing and repelling at Huntington State Park. The group was led by local climbing enthusiast and certified climbing instructor Dr Paul Magnifico. The outing was billed as a time to have fun but the Scouts were able to fulfill some requirements for badges they are actively working on. Dr Magnifico, center, rear, oversees a group preparing to descend.
