Heart Attack Prevention

Southbury — River Glen Health Care Center, 162 South Britain Road, is planning a free community lecture on how to avoid a heart attack at 5:30 pm Thursday, June 14. 

Attendees can learn how to identify cardiac risk factors they can change, how to calculate the risk of having a heart attack in the next ten years, how to enjoy a healthy lifestyle as well as setting goals to reduce risk factors. 

Presented by Southbury Cardiology’s Harvey Kramer, MD, the program is open to the public and will be followed by a question and answer session. A cardiologist for more than 20 years, Dr Kramer is author of the book, A Woman’s Guide to Heart Attack Recovery.
