SHANNON ROUSE

A tug here . . . a little push here . . . a bump over there – soccer is not always a finesse game with stunning moves and passes and, although she could do all of that, Shannon Rouse maintained a physical presence in the middle of the field. That was her game. The 12 goals and five assists she recorded were icing on the cake.
