The Chion Family Says Thanks
To the Editor,
The May Red Cross Blood Drive which was dedicated to Greg was a huge success, over 100 units of blood were collected.
Thank you to Western Connecticut Federal Credit Union. The members of WIN donated the refreshments and organized much of the drive. I know I could not have accomplished this dream without help from the members of WIN.
Thank you NEWTOWNERS for donating part of yourselves that will help save lives in the future.
And to the members of the Masons, Knights of Columbus, police union, firemen, and independent school bus drivers:
The success of the April Pancake Breakfast you organized for Greg was a huge success! How generous you are with your effort and time! Your kindness is matched by our familyâs sincere appreciation.
Greg is now recovering from the stem cell transplant performed just two weeks ago at Westchester Medical Center. Greg is doing quite well, although still in isolation. We are looking forward to his return home in the not too distant future.
You make Newtown a great place to live!
Sincerely,
Chion Family
