A Boost For The Boosters

To the Editor,

On May 22nd, the Newtown Blue & Gold Booster Club held our annual golf fundraiser at Newtown Country Club. A sincere thank-you is extended to the record number of 56 players and all of our local merchants and individuals who made this event one of our most successful tournaments. To the staff and board members of Newtown Country Club, thank you for a great day!

Newtown Saving Bank was again very gracious in providing a starter set of balls and tees, a great foursome of players, and a tee sponsorship. Mr Robert Holmes provided the grand prizes again this year for our first and second place teams.

Generous donations from the following for all of our raffle prizes: Norelco Corporation, Pootatuck Wine & Spirits, Olde Newtown Tavern, My Place Restaurant, Berkshire Motors, G.P.
