The Stardust Revue Just Gets Better… In The Lathrop Style
The Stardust Revue Just Gets Better⦠In The Lathrop Style

Do you find it difficult to afford the high price of buying and attending a Broadway show? Have no fear, once a year you can buy a ticket to one of the hottest shows in Newtown the first weekend every June: The Stardust Revue.
This yearâs 56th Annual Revue showcased some of the finest dancing performed by local jazz, tap and ballet students of all ages, as seen on stage last weekend during five performances on the stage at Edmond Town Hall.
Excitement is generated during the show by the 3-4 year olds trying to keep their step, tapping to the same rhythm, then moving up through the ages to the mothersâ group and the Stardusters, all following directions by teacher Miss Diane Wardenberg from the front stage pit.
Mrs Virginia Lathrop, the stealth leader of the and director of the school that bears her name, anchors the side of the stage, observing all of the young and old prodigies.
Dramatic. Commanding. Upbeat. Motivating. Enthusiastic. Stunning. Classy. There are not enough words to describe the dances performed throughout the show on stage at the Edmond Town Hall. In fine style, The Revue closes with the high kicking Stardusters ending the show with grace and style and you think you are watching the Rockettes. Yes, they are that good!
Dances choreographed by Mrs Lathrop and Miss Diane, taught by the veterans, will never grow old, just better with age⦠in the Lathrop style.
