Police Seek Owners Of

Found Items

Police are seeking the owners of various found items which they are holding for safekeeping.

Among those items are: a set of keys with an engraved religious medallion found on May 18 at Dickinson Park on Elm Drive; an Apple-brand iPod digital music player found May 7 in front of Newtown High School; a gold ring containing a diamond that was found April 26 at the Newtown High school baseball field; a silver charm bracelet found on April 3 on a walking trail at Fairfield Hills; a teardrop-shaped diamond found April 2 at the Citgo gas station at 151 South Main Street; and a set of antique photographs enclosed in a Rolodex-style holder found last October 13 on Route 25 near the Newtown/Brookfield town line.
