Nicholas J. Kopcik, Sr, 63, of Monroe, died June 1 in St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Mr Kopcik was born on September 25, 1944, to Nicholas and Anna (Feltovich) Kopcik.

Survivors include his beloved children, Nicholas Kopcik, Jr, and his wife, Melissa, of Newtown and Dawn Adams and her husband, Bruce, of Seymour; six cherished grandchildren, Nicholas III, Stephen, and Jonathan Kopcik, and Joseph, Emma, and Ethan Adams; a sister, Helen Kopcik of Vermont; a niece and a nephew; and a special friend, Georgette Drew of Bridgeport.

Mr Kopcik was the owner of NJK Heating and Cooling Company. He was the beloved husband of the late Gale Ann Musante Kopcik and will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather who could do or fix anything, and was always helping his children and grandchildren, who adored him.

Funeral services took place June 5 in the Adzima Funeral Home, Stratford, and in St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in Mount St Peter’s Cemetery, Derby.
