Mr and Mrs Daniel Smith

Deana Corinne Saada and Daniel Hopkins Smith were married by Judge Rosalie Bailey at Samuel’s Grande Manor in Williamsville, N.Y. A reception followed at the same location.

The groom is the son of Dunham and Rebecca Smith of Sandy Hook, and grandson of Dr and Mrs H.T. Hopkins, also of Sandy Hook.

Justin Labrecque of Atlanta, Ga., served as best man for Daniel. His ushers were Daniel Saada, brother of the bride, from Getzville, N.Y., Derek Rappaport, Daniel’s brother-in-law, from Pembroke, Mass., Chris Cheung of Albany, N.Y., David Fan of Rockville, Md., and Mitchell Webster of Arlington, Mass.

An exhibition developer for Boston Museum of Science, Mr Smith is a 1996 graduate of Newtown High School. He is also a 2000 graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he earned a BA in anthropology.

The bride is the daughter of Sandra and the late René Saada of Getzville, N.Y. Her grandparents are Jack and the late Reva Levin of Tonawanda, N.Y., and Auguste and Fortun?e Saada of Pantin, Paris, France.

She graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1997, then Ithaca College in 2001 with a BA in music education/French horn performance, and then received her master’s in music education in 2006. She is employed as the band director for Carlisle Public Schools, Carlisle, Mass.

Following a honeymoon on the Big Island of Hawaii, the couple returned to their home in Arlington, Mass.
