It’s A Runaway — St. Rose Track Team Goes Unbeaten In First Season

Saint Rose School’s track team, in its first season, won the final parochial league meet against five other local schools and went undefeated this season. Individual results for those in the top three for each category:

Girls

Gold medal: Erin Begg (1600m, 800m and 400m), Brianne Moulder (400m), Marina Renzi (800m, 50m), Maria Dutsar (200m), Vicoria Kirkman (200m), Audrey Sedensky (200m).

Silver medal: Kaitlyn Sugarman (200m), Molly Begg (200m), Maria Dutsar (100m), Paige Simms (Broad Jump), Marina Renzi (Relay), Victoria Kirkman (relay), Maren Brady (relay), Anna Brubaker (relay).

Bronze medal: Maren Brady (400m), Audrey Sedensky (400m), Haley Ryan (100m, relay), Molly Begg (800m), Kathryn Kerins (softball, relay), Isabella Jimenez (softball), Kaylie Daniels (relay), Caitlin Keane (relay), Danielle DePinto (50m).

Boys

Gold Medal: Johnny Kerins (800m, 200m), Matt Gerbo (200m, 50m, relay), Brendan Skewis (400m, broad jump, relay),  Mark Leonardi (relay), Gavin Connors (relay).

Silver medal: Andrew Hyeon (Long Jump).

Bronze medal: Alex Gerbo (Broad Jump), Matthew Pindell (Broad Jump), Drew Oberg (Long Jump), Johnny Kerins (Relay), Jack Curry (Relay), Kevin Morrissey (Relay), David Tortora (Relay), Andrew Hyeon (800m), Riley Cross (400m), Billy Begg (800m).
