Church Welcomes New Members

Fifteen young people were welcomed into the Newtown Congregational Church last Sunday during the 10 am worship service. They had completed an intensive school year of study, prayer, and fellowship concluding with each writing his/her own commitment of faith. Each was blessed and given a heart to wear around the neck.

Confirmands are Katharine Benson, Timothy Cardoso, Jeffrey Hanna, Melissa Landin, Derek Miles, Kyle Nowak, Patrick O’Handley, Janelle Rancourt, Timothy Robinson, Kristin Ryan, Morgan Eve Swain, Mark Walrath, Diana Wickman, Stephanie Wiedemann, and Jaime Willie.
