The team of O’Connell and McLaughlin took home low gross honors with a 1 over par score of 71. They held off other competitors to claim a 2 shot victory. The tournament had a closest to the pin competition with Mike Elliot and Mark Pocious taking home that award on the fifth hole and Tom Kahl and Matt Klein earning recognition on the ninth hole.

Men’s Thursday Night Quota League Winners

First: Peter Spanedda

In difficult rainy and windy conditions, Spanedda held off 8 other competitors to win this week’s Thursday Night Men’s Stableford. His score of plus 2.5 points enabled him to run away with the title. With this victory, Spanedda climbed up to second place in the season-long point standings.
