Burglary/Larceny
Police are investigating a burglary/larceny at a Merlinâs Lane residence in which the items stolen may exceed $20,000 in value. Merlinâs Lane contains many large elaborate houses. The street extends from Hattertown Road.
Sometime overnight on May 30â31, someone illegally entered the house, police said. Items stolen include a 2006 Honda Accord sedan, computers, cash, and a handgun, police said.
The residents were not home when the incident occurred. The crimes committed include first-degree larceny and third-degree burglary, both of which are felonies.Â
Police learned of the incident on the morning of May 31. Patrol Officer Larissa Nosal conducted the initial investigation.
