NORTHAMPTON, MASS. â The Smith College Museum of Art will present a lecture, âJack of All Trades, Master of All: Artistic Versatility and Thematic Renewal in the Work of Leonard Baskin,â on Friday, June 15, at 5:30 pm, in the Graham Hall, Hillyer Hall, across from the museum.
Andrew C. Weislogel, assistant curator/master teacher at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, will provide a broad context for viewing Leonard Baskinâs lesser-known images of women, which are on view in the exhibition âMedea and Her Sisters: Leonard Baskinâs Images of Women.â
