LEONARD BASKIN’S WORK TOPIC OF TALK AT SMITH COLLEGE MUSEUM JUNE 15

NORTHAMPTON, MASS. — The Smith College Museum of Art will present a lecture, “Jack of All Trades, Master of All: Artistic Versatility and Thematic Renewal in the Work of Leonard Baskin,” on Friday, June 15, at 5:30 pm, in the Graham Hall, Hillyer Hall, across from the museum.

Andrew C. Weislogel, assistant curator/master teacher at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, will provide a broad context for viewing Leonard Baskin’s lesser-known images of women, which are on view in the exhibition “Medea and Her Sisters: Leonard Baskin’s Images of Women.”
