Miles Carpenter & Mary Ober

A September 2010 wedding, to take place at Newtown Meeting House, is being planned for Mary Grace Ober of Newtown, daughter of Jennifer and Garry Ober of Newtown, who will wed Miles William Carpenter of Glastonbury. Miles is the son of Jill and Harold Carpenter, also of Glastonbury.

A reception will follow at The Dana-Holcombe House.

The two met while both were students at the University of Connecticut. They share an interest in surfing.

Mary is a 2006 graduate of Newtown High School, and a 2010 graduate of UConn.

Miles is a 2004 graduate of Glastonbury High School, and a 2008 UConn graduate. He is employed as an actuary for Hartford Life Insurance.
