Andrew Lattimore is a multidimensional artist with a distinctive view. His portraits, figures, landscapes and still life paintings go beyond simple storytelling by transporting the viewer into their characterâs worlds and lives.
At age 17, Mr Lattimore began attending the National Academy of Fine Arts in New York, completing his studies in three years. Two intensive years were spent studying the figure under the tutelage of Narina Simi in Florence, Italy, and additional time was devoted to studying landscape painting in England.
His paintings are in collections throughout the US, Italy, France, Great Britain and Hong Kong. Several galleries in California, Florida, Massachusetts and New York represent him.
In addition he teaches at Westchester Community College and in his own atelier in Cornwall, N.Y.
The program is free and open to the public. Those seeking additional information may call Roberta Shea at 203-426-6812.
