Just Say No

To the Editor:

Newtown politicians are attempting to ignore voters yet again. They want to tax and spend more of your hard-earned dollars whether you like it or not. We need to speak firmly now or forever be subject to the whim of 75 self interested special interest advocates in a room with the LC.

A No vote means spend and tax less, not more. The last No vote was supposed to get us a tax reduction, but if this referendum passes we get a tax increase instead. Don’t let it happen. A resounding No in the next referendum means the tax bills don’t get out on time, and a clear message is sent. If you ever felt like voting No, now is the time. Vote No in our third referendum Tuesday, June 8.
