Jason Varney and Brea Passero

An August 2010 wedding is being planned for Brea Rose Passero, daughter of Rose and Richard Passero of Newtown, and Jason Anthony Varney, son of Paul Varney of Bethel and Elaine Toaso of Danbury.

Brea, who currently lives in Southington, is a 2001 graduate of Newtown High School. She is also a 2005 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where she majored in sociology.

She is employed as a human resources staffing coordinator for The Hartford Financial Services Group.

Jason, also of Southington, is a 1998 graduate of Bethel High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Central Connecticut State University, and is working toward his master’s in business administration at the University of Hartford.

Jason is a client manager for The Hartford Financial Services Group.
