Confused

To the Editor:

It seems voting No for the budget doesn’t really mean No anymore. How are we supposed to vote if we want the town budget lowered? We vote the budget down and the Legislative Council increases the budget. I’m confused!

Talking with many voters in town, we all want the same thing...the budget lowered. As everyone knows there is lots and lots of fudge in this budget and we see no reason why the budget can’t be lowered substantially. From those I’ve talked with, everyone will be the voting No until we see a major decrease in this dream budget.
