Subdivisions And Recreation
To the Editor:
Now that P&Z is rethinking its open space subdivision regulations they might consider and encourage a new concept that will maintain property values as well as be less demanding on the land that open space subdivisions are designed to protect.
Why not encourage recreational facilities within the subdivision. It would appear that having clubhouses, swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts under condominium ownership would be beneficial to homeowners as well as less demanding on the land than the alternative of having these facilities on each lot.
