Dr Spiro To Speak On Lyme Disease

WILTON — Psychiatrist Carolyn Spiro, MD, will address the Wilton Lyme Disease Support Group for adults at 7:30 pm on June 9 at Comstock Community Center. Her talk is entitled, “Is This Lyme or Is It All In My Head?”

Dr Spiro, who received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and taught at both Harvard and Yale, will discuss the neuro-psychiatric manifestations of Lyme disease. She will provide an overview of the psychiatric and cognitive symptoms of Lyme, which include depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and sleep disturbances.
