To the Editor:

Today we were in the car behind a very smelly truck. These sorts of trucks emit what are sometimes called greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very bad for the planet. In some cities, air is so polluted people get sick.

So, if you have two cars and are going on a suitable journey, please use the smaller car. Even better, ride a bike or scooter on short trips.
