DeGroat Stadium

To the Editor:

My name is Louis DePaul, and I was employed for 34 years by the Newtown Board of Education as teacher, coach, and director of CWE.

I believe that the opportunity to decide the name of the football stadium should be given to the people of Newtown. The Town of Newtown should revisit the naming of the stadium.

I also believe that the stadium be named after a man who dedicated his life to young people. Harold DeGroat touched the likes of more than 30,000 students as teacher, coach, and recreation director of the town.
