Mary L. Regan Duffy died on May 26 in New Haven, wife of Thomas H. Duffy of Quarry Dock Road, Branford, formerly of Southport.
Besides her husband, she leaves seven daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Ron Zingoni of Newtown, Kathleen and Stephen Papp of Newtown, Nancy and Michael Bailie of Columbia, S.C., Maribeth and Marty Gibbons of Marlton, N.J., Eileen Duffy and Dave Beem of Easton, Peggy and Kevin McCulloch of Durango, Colo., and Maureen and Steven Dwyer of Naugatuck. She was the sister of Eileen (Frank) Plichta of Fall River, Mass., and Patricia Sullivan of Quincey, Mass. Mrs Duffy is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Fall River, Mass., daughter of Michael J. and Louella Connerton Regan. A graduate of Bryant College, she belonged to the Branford Womenâs Club, St Mary Ladies Guild, and the New Heavenerâs Club. She was a volunteer at Connecticut Hospice, and the Branford Food Council, and she was an avid bowler at Cherry Hill Lanes and Circle Lanes.
