Unemployed Sought For University Study

FAIRFIELD — Dr Dorothea Braginsky, a social psychologist in the College of Arts & Sciences at Fairfield University, is conducting research on the impact of losing one’s job.

Men and women who have experienced unemployment over the past decade are invited to take part in the study which involves one hour of filling out a survey and being interviewed on the Fairfield University campus. Each participant will receive $25.

Dr Braginsky has conducted research in the past on how the loss of a job affects individuals and their families. She hopes to compare her findings with her earlier work conducted in the 1970s and 1990s.

This research is being supported by the Humanities Institute at Fairfield University. To join the study or for additional information, call 203-589-3840.
