ROXBURY – The William Burley Mid-Summer Championship will be run over a 5.0-mile course Saturday, July 8, at 8:30 am as part of the weekly Roxbury Road Race Series.

The course will include the steep hills on Squire Road and Apple Lane.

There will be a $5 entry fee that can be paid that day from 7:15 to 8:20 am at the Everett Hurlbut Community Park, near where the race will start and finish. Proceeds will go to the Roxbury park improvement fund.

The first overall male and female finisher will receive a $10 gift certificate to a sporting goods store.
