Florida Resident Grew Up In Newtown

Audrey Foley Reese, 61, died February 26 in her home in Stuart, Fla. She was born February 29, 1944, in Bridgeport to Thomas and Mildred Byxbee Foley.

A graduate of Newtown High School, Ms Reese lived in Miami, moving to Stuart nine years ago.

Survivors include her brothers, Thomas J. Foley of Stratford, formerly of Newtown, Kenneth and John Foley of Bridgeport, and Edward L. Foley of Wolcott and three sisters, Muriel Palmer of Spring Hill, Fla., and Margaret Piggott and Janet Bonath of Stuart. Many nieces and nephews also survive Ms Reese. Her sisters, Shirley Wheeler, Helen Speliedes, and Mildred Patricia Hunnicutt predeceased her.

Ms Reese was an administrator at Chlorinator, Inc in Stuart and attended St Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 am, Saturday, June 3 at St Rose Church in Newtown. Burial will be at St Rose Cemetery.
