Due to scheduling conflicts, the June meetings of the Board of Selectmen — which traditionally meets on the first and third Monday of each month — have been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 11, and Monday, June 24. The special meetings are still scheduled to be conducted at Newtown Municipal Center.
A May 31 email from the Town also includes a note that the 2019-20 Road Work Plan will be presented during the June 11 BOS meeting.
A special meeting of the C.H. Booth Library Governance Committee has been announced for Tuesday, June 4, at 5 pm, at the library.
In addition, the June 4 regular meeting of the Board of Police Commissioners has been canceled.
A special meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, June 13. While the special meeting will begin at its regular time (6:30), this month’s meeting will take place at Newtown Volunteer Ambulance headquarters, 6 Washington Square.
The Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers has announced a special meeting for Tuesday, June 5, at 5 pm.
Also, the June 12 Borough of Newtown Zoning Commission and the July 18 Sustainable Energy Commission meetings have both been canceled as of this morning. The SEC is still planning to conduct its June 20 meeting.
Calendar listings for all of these meetings and schedule changes have all been posted or updated on The Newtown Bee website’s [naviga:u]calendar page[/naviga:u]. Readers are reminded that meetings are regularly added to that calendar, and agendas are posted as they become available.
