Saturday’s State Tourney Games Set

Newtown High School’s baseball team and boys’ lacrosse team will each compete in state tournament games on Saturday, June 1.
On the baseball diamond, the second-seeded Nighthawks will host No. 10 Amity of Woodbridge in the Class LL quarterfinals at 3 pm.
Newtown’s lacrosse team, seeded tenth, will visit second-seeded Fairfield Prep in the quarterfinals at 4 pm.
Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults.
