Annual Herbfest Festival

WASHINGTON — The Institute For American Indian Studies will present its annual “Herbfest Festival” on Sunday, June 11.

Herbal vendors, vegetarian foods, and presentations on alternative health and healing practices will be offered between the hours of noon and 5 pm. The institute will also offer its regular permanent exhibits on Eastern Woodland Indians, indoors and outdoors, and several temporary exhibits for visitors to enjoy.

All are included in the price of admission to the festival. The fee is $5 for adults, and $3 for children ages 6 to 16. The festival will be held inside the museum building in case of rain.
