Blue Versus Gold

Newtown High School open spring football practice on Friday, May 26, and after a full week it will all culminate with the annual Newtown Booster Club Blue And Gold football game on Saturday, June 3, at 7:30 pm, under the lights at Bruce Jenner Stadium. The captains of the football team choose up sides to do battle. Also that day, the football team will be holding a Car Wash from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the VFW Hall on Tinkerfield Road, off South Main Street. And coming up in July is the Newtown Touchdown Club’s golf tournament at Tashua Knolls in Trumbull.
