She has been on the St Rose basketball team for four years and in 2002â2003 season was named the most Defensive Player. She received the Coaches Award in the 2000â2001 season and the Most Improved Player in the 1999â2000 Season. For six years, Alison has been playing in Babe Ruth Softball.
Alison has been on the Student Council for four years serving as vice president while in the seventh grade and president this year. She also has been a Girl Scout for eight years, assisted tutoring for religious education, baby-sat for religious education, and assisted the first grade St Rose Brownie Troop. With all this, she still finds time to play the piano.

Newtown Rotary has many Youth Programs since it believes that âour youth are our futureâ and that all should be done to groom them for their role in the future.
Besides the Student of the Month Program it promotes an Interact Service Club in the high, middle, and intermediate schools, a Rotary Leadership Awards Weekend, and a World Affairs Seminar week award at the University of Wisconsin in June. Anyone wishing to know more about Rotary is invited to attend its 6 pm Monday evening supper meeting at the Fireside Inn or call Duane Baumert at 426-8895.
