Open House At Infusion Center

DANBURY — Danbury Hospital’s Outpatient Infusion Center will host an open house on Wednesday, June 4, for health care professionals, patients, and the community. The event will be held from 7 to 9 am in the 2nd Floor Stroock Building of the hospital, 24 Hospital Avenue.

The open house will include light refreshments and a tour of the center’s bright, comfortable setting for receiving comprehensive infusion treatment by specially trained nurses. No RSVP is required.

Since 1989, the Outpatient Infusion Center has offered convenient infusion and injectable therapy services for people of all ages in a closely supervised setting. The center is led by Medical Director Gary Schleiter, MD, chief of infectious diseases, and Suzanne Moore, manager of the center’s services.

In addition to these therapies, the center’s certified nurses offer high standards of service, quality, and care and have received national recognition for innovation in their specialty. They have served as consultants to other infusion centers across the country to share their “Best Practice Model” for care.

The center can be reached at 731-8703.
