John T.        Zanesky, Sr

John Thomas Zanesky, Sr, 74, died in Sarasota, Fla., on March 8.

He was born in Bridgeport and later moved to Newtown and retired to Sarasota. He was a tool and dye maker for General Electric, became owner and president of Southern New England Manufacturing, and later retired from Amphonal. Mr Zanesky was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was on the board of directors of Pine Ridge Mobile Homes in Sarasota.

Survivors include a son, John T. Zanesky, Jr, of Newtown; a sister, Lucille Soltesz of Florida; and brothers, Robert Zanesky of Pensacola, Fla., and Richard Zanesky of Southbury; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family.
