Kazmier (Jim) Everett

Kazmier (Jim) Everett, 77, of Seymour, a retired aircraft mechanic for Avco Lycoming, died on May 29 in Griffin Hospital, Derby.

Born in Nanticoke, Penn., he was formerly a resident of Bridgeport and Newtown before moving to Seymour over eight years ago. Mr Everett was a United States Army World War II veteran and former member of the Masonic Order.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria (Basile) Everett; two sons, Kenneth L. Everett and his wife, Brenda, of Ledyard, and Gary J. Everett and his wife, Linda, of Huntington; two step-sons, Robert G. Jones and his wife Karen, of Mechanicsburg, Penn., and Richard C. Lee of Ashley Falls, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Debbie Saad of Chicago; a stepdaughter-in-law, Sarnic Forte of Bristol; eight grand-children; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Augustine Church, 35 Washington Avenue, Seymour, on Friday, June 2, at 10 am. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, was in charge of arrangements.
