A memorial service for Ruth Lynn (Callahan) Gustavson, who died November 13, 2012, at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, of a brain hemorrhage, will be said at 11 am, Saturday, June 1, at the St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown.

Ms Gustavson was born January 27, 1955, in Queens, N.Y., and moved with her family to Newtown. She grew up here and attended schools in Newtown, graduating from Newtown High School in 1972.

She moved from the area after marrying, but loved returning to  visit friends.

A son, Todd Martin Gustavson of Baltimore, Md., survives her.

After the service there will be an informal gathering to celebrate her life.
